Grass fiber material
Primarily made of food-grade polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP). PE material offers high softness and excellent elasticity, making it suitable for child-friendly environments; PP material boasts superior wear resistance, ideal for high-traffic areas. Some premium products incorporate anti-ultraviolet (UV) masterbatches to delay fading and aging caused by prolonged sun exposure.
Masterbatch process
The grass filament color is formed through the melting and extrusion of masterbatch with raw materials, not post-dyeing. Common colors include red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, etc. Custom Pantone color codes or gradient colors are available, with color fastness reaching grades 6-8 (lightfastness rating). Outdoor use for 3-5 years without significant fading.
Base fabric and backing adhesive
The base fabric adopts a composite structure of PP mesh fabric + non-woven fabric, with a tensile strength ≥150N/cm. The backing adhesive is styrene-butadiene latex or PU adhesive. A secondary coating process ensures the turf fiber peel strength ≥10N, preventing fiber shedding. The backing adhesive layer features anti-slip texture to enhance adhesion to the ground.
